For the Longchamp TRES PARIS Fall/Winter 2021 Collection, Creative Director Sophie Delafontaine drew inspiration from the label’s Parisian origins and equestrian heritage – it was, after all, named after the French capital’s most famous racecourse. Drawn by Turenne Chevallereau, the galloping iconic Longchamp racehorse is the enduring expression of the label’s dynamism and art de vivre. It was this equestrian connection which influenced the choice of location for the show: Paris’ renowned Battesti riding hall, with its imposing glass and iron roof, engineered by Gustave Eiffel and the concept of the new Très Paris Campaign. A new effortless yet tenacious and independent vision of the Parisienne is proposed for the FW21 Collection, mixing authenticity, longevity and energy.
