THE PARISIAN LONGCHAMP WOMAN?

NATURAL, FREE AND EXCITING!

The Longchamp Parisian takes her inspiration from fashion to affirm her personality, with a kind of je-ne-sais-quoi that doesn't seem to require any effort, and comes to her very naturally.

Sophie DELAFONTAINE, Artistic Director at Longchamp.

The arrival of the new season marks a change of pace inspired by optimism!

Always on the move, the Parisian Longchamp woman starts her day by mixing and matching pieces from her wardrobe that she embraces like no other. True to her now ubiquitous reputation, she embodies the coveted, effortless and chic urban adventurer. Sporting a deceptively tailored blazer paired with some 70's-style jeans, she finishes off her look with the iconic Roseau bag, adding a vibrant or pastel finishing touch to her silhouette. Finally, she never forgets to slip on her moccasins, a symbol of her desire for comfort and freedom of movement. Nothing can stop the Parisian Longchamp woman. Not even her schedule! Flexible, she can adapt to all situations, be it morning or evening, weekdays or weekends. You could say that our Parisian woman has mastered her look!

Often synonymous with an elegant and timeless style, she stands out for her polished and refined appearance. You won't find anything boring about her, quite the opposite actually! She wears high-quality clothes and favours classic, well-fitting designs and doesn't succumb to fleeting trends. She has an innate sense of style, without appearing overdressed or overly sophisticated. She opts for timeless pieces that express her day-to-day mood, which she combines in different ways to create outfits that are both elegant and casual. Creative to a fault, she asserts her signature style with determination and audacity.

Her make-up is minimalist; she reveals her glowing skin and finishes her look with a touch of bright red lipstick.

Natural and flowing, her hair is always minimalistic and boasts an elegant cut, though at times it’s embellished with a loud cap reminiscent of a streetwear spirit... because this girl definitely has some character to spare! We also love her for her poise and fearless spontaneity. Her motto? Self-confidence and independence. And Paris through and through! She loves to go for walks, outings or to work in the magnificent City of Light... and the city loves her too. She appreciates the simple and real pleasures, such as drinking coffee on a terrace or strolling through the old cobbled streets full of history and culture. She takes the time to have fun, which makes her famous for her love of culture and "art de vivre". She visits museums, art galleries and theatres and enjoys good food, wine and the company of friends. She is often seen as an independent and ambitious woman who works hard to achieve her goals while enjoying life’s pleasures. In short, our Parisian woman embodies a French lifestyle and attitude that inspires the world, symbolising elegance, a chic allure and self-assertion.

As with most things, she has strong visions when it comes to fashion and everyone who loves her is sure to follow her! She knows how to combine influences and dares to play with them to move from one style vocabulary to another. And she does it so well, whatever the circumstances. Is the weather acting up again? Not to worry! She glides along through the droplets of rain in a striped mohair wool jacket and white rain boots (they’re so much better for jumping in puddles, right?). An important meeting on the cards? She opts for a pinstripe suit, complete with a baseball cap for a subtle and unconventional sporty look. It’s then, of course, impossible for her to leave home without her Box-Trot bag, reimagined for the new season in a plum colour with a cobalt blue strap, or a very trendy black leather and raffia effect. A quick break between meetings? She grabs her trusty and versatile Le Pliage Xtra bag and recharges her batteries on the terrace with a refreshing lemon Perrier, some music and a good book.

The weekend starts off with a little bit of self-gifting! Beautiful wildflowers and compliments from her florist on her vintage-wash jeans, cosy roll-neck jumper and trusty moccasins. If she feels like layering up, she’ll slip on a jumper dress then a hoodie adorned with graphic stripes. She knows how to stay comfortable without compromising on style! This autumn, each of her looks is accompanied by a corduroy baseball cap and her 3D leather bag which is sometimes embellished with a bright silk scarf or a shearling shoulder strap. With a chic dinner date on the horizon, she slips on a black suit audaciously paired with her black mini Box-Trot crossbody bag to keep her hands as free as she is, and heads towards the Marais! Relaxing Sundays are for sailor stripes and trainers. She meets up with her friends, with her Epure wicker bucket bag doubling as a picnic basket.

Never seeking to attract attention, she favours a confident and understated style. Her outfits must be comfortable, and she looks just as good in rain boots as she does in shearling clogs. A chameleon by nature, nothing stands in her way, especially not her wardrobe.

Wherever you may be, welcome to the French Touch!
